At the beginning of February, 6 USF School of Management students including Jocelyn Luciani, Emily Delarre, Shi Belcher, Jade Diuane, Zac Clark, and Winnie Wang began an 8 week journey participating in the Global Solutions Sustainability Challenge. The goal of the competition was to come up with a sustainable business concept to solve one of four sustainable development goals. The team chose zero hunger. After being invited to participate in the Emerald Publishing International Case Competition, I was initially unsure of my position in a team since I had no experience analyzing a case study before. The process began with getting to know my teammates, Leo Huang, a senior from USF, Angelica Alcantar, and Sydnie Chen, both from City College of San Francisco, and our faculty advisor, Vivian Faustino-Pulliam. ISAP members got to go on an exclusive tour of the Silicon Valley based company MORE Health. During the visit, ISAP members were giving a tour of the office, and heard keynote speeches from the CEO, CFO, and knowledge doctors. At the end was an engaging Q&A session, and a chance for members to get to know the executives over pizza!
